The Jr. Fair Livestock Auction wrapped up Saturday at the Logan County Fair.

The biggest moneymaker of the day was not a champion animal. Ten local businesses and families collaborated to purchase Cody Logan's 257 pound market barrow for $2,100. Hurley Excavating, Belletech, Country Cookin', Freisthler Paving, Heiby Oil, Wish-Well Farms, T & D Trucking, Jeff's Welding, Scott and Audreau Coleman, and Bill and Holly Tipple bought the hog. (Audio interviews and pictures included.)

Fourteen year-old Cody Logan of Zanesfield is a cancer survivor. Six years ago Cody was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. After nearly a year of chemotherapy and numerous check-ups, he is cancer-free. Logan will be a freshman at Benjamin Logan in the fall. He plans to play football for the Raiders.

Listen to Cody talk about his big sale and overcoming cancer.
