Dean and Howes set Midget track records PDF Print E-mail

mac-o-chee_logo_on_5-08.jpgThe Mac-O-Chee Quarter Midget Racing Association hosted two days of racing this past weekend.

Saturday's racing event was cancelled during heat races as thunderstorms rolled through, however, during qualifying, Chase Dean set a new track record in Senior Honda at 5.9049 and Cole Howes broke the track record in Heavy Honda at 6.0294.

Racers from Mac-O-Chee, Buckeye, and Miami Valley quarter midget tracks took part in the Mid-Ohio Series on Sunday.

Capturing feature wins were Tyler Garner in Junior Novice, Brad Howes in Senior Novice, Ryan Fleming in World Formula and Light 160, Caleb Cagle in Junior Honda, Chase Dean in Senior Honda, Cole Howes in Heavy Honda, Jacob Stickle in Junior Stock, and Ethan Mullet in Heavy 160.

Quarter midget racing returns to Lions Park in West Liberty on August 23th and 24th.
