Last year's Parade of Lights in Bellefontaine
The Vendor Expo starts next Thursday, July 24th and runs through Saturday the 26th. The event will again take place at Ohio Hi-Point with admission being only $3.00 for adults and children 13 and under will be free. (Audio and video interviews included.) Candace Watson, Director Convention & Tourist Bureau, is expecting a good turn out this year and has been receiving calls about the event from around the country as well as Canada. Listen to Candace Watson talk about this year's entertainment. Watch Candace explain some new options for visitors. Festivities leading up to the Light Parade include the Party at the Peak in Downtown Bellefontaine from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursday the 24th, featuring the band Agent 99. The AMA sanctioned event could not take place without the generous support from 100 plus volunteers. Many local residents have helped since the first Honda HomeComing, including Alan and Maria Galvez. Mr. Galvez expressed his excitement for this year's event and his dedication to help insure that people will have a good time. For anyone wishing to volunteer, contact Maria Galvez at 592-4871.
