A bid from Wagner Paving out of Laura, Ohio was accepted for the chip and sealing project in the village.

The project will cost the village around $26,000.

The project will chip and seal Miami Street, Miller Street, Mill Street, and parts of Hayes Street and Thatcher Street.

The village plans to have this project completed in the next few weeks.

The council passed a resolution to apply for additional funding for the water tower.

An additional $300,000 is needed to complete the project. The funds will come from OWDA. The paperwork for the funds needs to be turned in by August 15th.

Mayor Phil Fawcett updated council about the Joint Sewer Board. The mayor said that he would like to see both villages handle the responsibilities of the sewage facility in a more compromising manner. Fawcett said he plans to propose a meeting between both village councils in the near future.

The council decided to move the village garage sales from September 13th to August 16th from 9 a.m-3 p.m.

DeGraff Village Council meets again on August 5th at seven p.m.
