Powerbuilt eliminated in State Acme Tournament Print E-mail

baseballs.jpgBellefontaine Powerbuilt's great season came to a close last night.

Powerbuilt fell 9-2 against Lima Bath in the third round of the State Acme Tournament in Coldwater.

The game was decided in the fifth inning when Bath scored eight runs to break a 1-1 tie.

Bellefontaine gave up twelve hits and Nolan Hunt suffered the loss.

Brock Mitchell and T.J. Garman led the offense.

Mitchell had two hits and Garman delivered an RBI single.

Coach Jeremy Burrey thanked his players for an excellent summer.

Powerbuilt went 30-7.

The State Acme Tournament runs through Saturday at Coldwater Veterans Field.

The four remaining teams are Lima Bath, Coldwater, Patrick Henry, and Northmont.
