A man wanted for murder in West Virginia was arrested near Anna early Wednesday.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office received a tip to be on the lookout for a green Chevy van with a West Virginia registration.

The van was spotted in the parking lot of L and O Tire Repair on State Route 119 just east of I-75.

James Lohr, Jr., 40, and his wife, Angela, 31, were taken into custody without incident around five a.m.

They're from Triadelphia, West Virginia, which is near Wheeling.

Anna Rescue responded after Mr. Lohr complained of chest pains.

He was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital under deputy's guard.

After Lohr was treated, he was lodged in the Shelby County Jail.

At the request of West Virginia authorities, Mrs. Lohr was released.

Deputies were assisted by Anna, Botkins, and Jackson Center Police Departments, the Wapakoneta and Piqua Posts of the State Highway Patrol, and the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office.

Mr. Lohr is awaiting a court appearance for extradition to West Virginia.
