The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that two local men were arrested Thursday after stealing several items from a rural Bellefontaine farm.

Daniel Dearwester, 22, of Bellefontaine, and Josh Claybaugh, 23, of Urbana, were each charged with one count of felony theft.

Deputies say the men stole an 18-foot flatbed farm trailer, fence posts, barbed wire, and a 50-gallon fuel tank from a residence in the 4000 block of State Route 508.

Dearwester and Claybaugh were arrested after hauling some of the items to Sims Brothers in Bellefontaine.

Both men were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
