| Local man charged with cruelty to animals |

Deputies report that Jason Davis, 31, of 8937 Auditorium, picked up and slammed a chihuahua shortly after two a.m. He was charged with misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals and disorderly conduct. Davis denied the incident, but he was charged after witnesses identified him. A female at the residence said that "Chica" bit Davis. Davis was lodged in the Logan County Jail. |
