The board discussed bids for possible roadwork in the area and passed a resolution to begin replacing culverts, chipping and sealing area roads. The construction is planned for the next few weeks. (Audio interview included.) Listen to Chairman Tim Tillman explain the work to be done on Jefferson Township roads. In other trustee news, trustee members discussed the landscaping of Zanesfield area cemeteries. Some of the cemeteries previously mowed and weeded once a week or every eight days will now be attended to roughly every five days. The trustees are also looking into the possibility of obtaining a credit card for use in certain situations when companies must be paid and currently have no account open with Jefferson Township. The Jefferson Township Trustees will meet again in the Logan County Engineer's Office August 6th at 3:30 p.m. |
