| Bellefontaine man sent to prison for 9th DUI |

Craig Clark, 43, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to eighteen months in prison for driving while under the influence. Mr. Clark's license was suspended for three years and he was ordered to pay an $800 fine. This was Clark's ninth DUI conviction. Andrew Jackson, 37, of Sidney, was sentenced to twelve months in prison for grand theft. The time will be served consecutively with time he is currently serving from Shelby County. Jackson was also ordered to pay $21,990.99 in restitution. William Dolan, 33, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to twelve months in prison for a community control violation. His original charge was breaking and entering. Nathan Spaulding, 24, of Columbus, was sentenced to three years community control and ordered to pay a $250 fine, attorney fees, and court costs for having a weapon under disability. Linda Roark, 55, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to five years of intensive community control for trafficking in drugs within the vicinity of a juvenile. Michael Smith, 25, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to sixty days in the Logan County Jail for domestic violence. Brittany Ginter, 19, of Lakeview, pled guilty to possession of drugs and was placed on intervention in lieu of conviction. She was ordered to complete a drug and alcohol treatment plan and was placed on community control for three years. Keith Whiting, 44, of Bellefontaine, pled guilty to domestic violence, Michael Ansley, 37, of Russells Point, pled guilty to receiving stolen property, and Jeffrey Purtee, 20, of Bloom Center, pled guilty to improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Presentence investigations were ordered and all three of them will be sentenced on September 2nd. |
