The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of State Route 47 and Dowell Avenue shortly after six-thirty.

Troopers report that Adriel employee Aspen King, 24, of Bellefontaine, was driving a 2004 Ford Econoline E350 van westbound on Allison Road.

Karri Holcomb, 17, of Rushsylvania, was operating a '99 Ford Mustang southwest bound on State Route 47.

The vehicles collided when King tried to cross from Allison to Dowell.

Tara Farthing, 15, of West Liberty, was riding in the van. She suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.

Paramedics also transported Holcomb to Mary Rutan Hospital.

The patrol says both vehicles suffered heavy damage.

King was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
