Three West Liberty-Salem runners finished in the top four at the Lawnview Run, Walk, and Play 5K race at Urbana's Melvin Miller Park on Saturday.

WLS 8th grader Meghan Vogel placed first overall in the women's race with a time of 20:26.

Kelsie Markin finished 3rd with a 20:56 and Hillary Seely finished 4th in a time of 21:00. Markin and Seely are seniors at WLS.

The Big Orange Shoe Shop is sponsoring its annual BOSS Summer 10K and 2.4 mile runs this Saturday at Lions Park in West Liberty. Races begin at 9:00 a.m. and registration starts at 7:30 a.m.

It is not too late to pre-register.  Entry forms are available at the Big Orange Shoe Shop or you can register on race day. All proceeds from the race will benefit the West Liberty-Salem cross country teams.
