Several school notes to pass along, including:

BELLEFONTAINE MIDDLE SCHOOL

State Achievement Test Scores from the 07-08 school year are now available in the BMS office. Students entering the 6^th, 7^th, or 8^th grade or a parent wishing to receive a copy of their test scores should stop at the office between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Orientation for all incoming 6^th graders will be held Thursday, August 14^th.  Students can pay school fees ($30) and pick up schedules and locker assignments at 6:30 p.m. in the main hallway in front of the office. At 7 p.m. there will be a meeting in the gym. All parents and students are encouraged to attend.

There will be an open house for students on Monday, August 18^th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Parents are encouraged to attend so students can visit their new room and meet their teacher.  Teachers will present information about the upcoming school year.

Please note that Northeastern and Southeastern will start school at 9:00 a.m. and dismiss at 3:30 p.m.

Kindergarten will stagger the first couple of days. On Wednesday, August 20^th, kindergarteners with their last name starting with A-L only will attend. On August 21^st, kindergarteners with their last name starting with M-Z will attend. On Friday August 22^nd, all kindergarten students will attend from this day on.

INDIAN LAKE HIGH SCHOOL

The Freshman orientation is Wednesday, August 13^th at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Freshman schedules will be distributed and fees may be paid at this time. Upperclassmen may begin picking up their schedules on Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

BENJAMIN LOGAN HIGH SCHOOL

Back to School Night is on Monday, August 18^th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Students will be able to pick up their schedules, pay school fees, purchase parking tags, and meet teachers that evening.

Preceding the Back To School Night, there will be a mandatory OHSAA meeting for parents of students involved in fall sports. This meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
