The Riverside varsity volleyball team beat host Triad in four games Saturday.

The scores were 24-26, 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.

Highlights for the Pirates were: 

Taylor Leiss had 10 pts, 4 aces, 11/15 hitting with 5 kills, and 4 blocks.

Courtney Hurley had 9 pts, 96/98 setting with 25 assists.

Erica Snapp recorded 9 pts, 4 aces, 9/12 hitting, 4 kills, and 7 blocks.

Abby Heaberlin had 8 pts, 9/10 serve receive, and 34/35 passing.

Amelia Carter was 16/21 hitting with 6 kills, and 10 blocks.

Brooklynn Purtee added 6 pts, 13/15 hitting with 5 kills.

Sarah Schindewolf was 24/32 serve receive, 36/40 passing and was 9/11 on back row attacks.

The Pirates are 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the NWCC.

The JV Pirates lost to Triad 20-25, 17-25.
