Representatives from 60 colleges, universities and the US military will be available to meet with students between the hours of 9:15-11:15 a.m. with 15-minute breaks for the representatives. Each school will attend during a prearranged time block and parents are advised to check with their student or school as to their allotted time frame. (Audio interview included.) Speakers from two-year, four-year, private and technical schools will speak to the students to describe what each has to offer. Representatives will also provide a short question and answer session prior to students meeting with admission counselors.
For more information, please contact guidance counselors at the area high schools or Heidi Reser at the Logan County Educational Service Center at 599-5195. Reser said the program should be a good learning tool for local students. College Day schedule:
Session 1: 8:45 - 9:45; Bellefontaine High School 8:45 - 9:15: Presentation in Auditorium 9:15 - 9:45: College Fair in Auxiliary Gym
Session 2: 9:30 - 10:30; Indian Lake, Riverside, Ohio Hi-Point 9:30 - 10:00: Presentation in the Auditorium 10:00 - 10:30: College Fair in Auxiliary Gym
Session 3: 10:15 - 11:15; Benjamin Logan, Waynesfield-Goshen 10:15 - 10:45: Presentation in the Auditorium 10:45 - 11:15: College Fair in Auxiliary Gym College Day serves students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, and Ohio Hi-Point. In case of a school closing, Ohio Hi-Point students must provide their own transportation to Bellefontaine High School. They should attend during the same time as their home school. |
