The Pirates lost to Newton 25-12, 12-25, and 17-25. Erica Snapp had 10 points and 10 kills. Courtney Hurley recorded 8 points and 4 kills. Taylor Leiss Leiss had 10 points and 2 kills. Amelia Carter contributed 8 kills and 3 blocks. Victoria Thompson tallied 6 kills and 3 blocks. Brooklyn Purtee added 7 kills. Riverside beat Houston 25-22, 25-17. Erica Snapp had 10 kills and was 7/7 on serve receive. Courtney Hurley recorded 5 points and 4 kills. Amelia Carter added 8 kills and 3 blocks. Victoria Thompson had 6 kills and 3 blocks. Brooklyn Purtee recorded 7 kills. The Pirates then fell to Franklin-Monroe 20-25, 18-25. Erica Snapp had 4 points, 6 digs, and was 9/9 on serve receive. Abby Heaberlin tallied 7 digs. Courtney Hurley added 3 kills. Riverside is 13-5 overall and 5-0 in the NWCC. They will play at Lima Perry on Thursday. The JV Pirates went 2-1. They defeated Newton 25-14, 25-13. Ashley Jones had 10 points. The Pirates lost to Houston 16-25, 25-13, 22-25. Jones led the team with 10 points. Riverside then beat Franklin-Monroe 25-17, 25-19. Jones tallied 17 points. The Indian Lake 8th grade volleyball team defeated swept Botkins in straight games.
Mikaela Oyer was 8 for 8 serving with 6 kills, Erika Kysenceder was 3 of 4 serving, and Kayla Foy was perfect on serve receive. The Indian Lake 7th grade volleyball team also won over Botkins in straight games. Ashlee King was 19 of 19 serving with 10 aces, Brooke Defibaugh was 8 of 8 serving with 2 aces, and Kirsten Merritt was perfect serving. |
