In varsity boys, Bellefontaine lost to visiting Tecumseh 4-0.

The Arrows scored three second half goals to take control.

The Chiefs are 6-5-2 overall and 3-4-2 in the CBC.

Bellefontaine will visit Celina on Saturday.

The JV Chiefs tied Tecumseh 2-2.

Head coach Steve Henry said, "This is a tough loss. We felt, again, that we could win this game, but we didn't come out to play in the 2nd half. And give credit to Tecumseh. They played hard and came out from halftime ready to win the game. They are a classy team, and I really respect them. But we play with a lot of class, too, which is a credit to our guys. I'm really proud of them for that."

The Indian Lake varsity boys team battled host Greenon to a 4-4 tie.

Senior Alex Contner paced the Lakers with a hat trick.

Justin Fry added a goal and an assist.

The Lakers are 4-7-3.

In JV action, Indian Lake tied Greenon 2-2.

Chase Vance and Ross Jenkins each scored.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys ran their record to 7-6-0 (5-5 CBC) last night by winning at Graham 3-1.

Seth Henry scored twice.

He has scored in six consecutive matches.

Dennis Engelenburg recorded a goal and an assist.

Chris Jaunzemis added an assist.

The Raiders outshot the Falcons 20-5.

Benjamin Logan will play at Fairlawn Saturday at 1:00 (varsity only).

Head coach Hughes said, "We played well tonight and the guys should be proud of themselves. Graham is much better than their 0-11-3 record. When we came out of halftime and they scored a goal off of a miss-hit and tied it we really stepped up our play after that. Seth Henry and Dennis Engelenburg are really feeding off of one another offensively and we got our outsides involved today which opens things up a bit more. We've won 5 of 6 now and I think that we are really playing well heading into our last week before tournament. The draw should be interesting this weekend because there is a lot of parity and so many of us have beaten one another during league play. I truly believe that the district tournament is more wide open this year than ever and we expect to be contenders in that race."

The Bellefontaine varsity girls rallied for a 3-2 win at Tecumseh.

The Chiefs had 11 shots on goal in the first half, but trailed 1-0 at the break.

After Tecumseh scored early in the second half, the Chiefs started their comeback.

At the 23-minute mark, Brittany Smalley put in a goal on the backside from a cross by Ebony Newman.

With the momentum swing, the Chiefs scored a second goal on a cross by Morgan Wilcoxon that was deflected by Julia Wetzel into the goal.

With 11 minutes to go in the game, Wetzel scored the game-winner on a pass from Wilcoxon.

Seniors Ally Marotti and Brooke Alexander led the defense.

BHS is 8-6 overall and 6-3 in the CBC.

They will visit Graham on Monday. Game time is 5:30.

The JV Chiefs won 1-0.

Brittany Lantz scored the game-winner and Baily Maier assisted.

The Indian Lake varsity girls lost 6-0 to visiting Greenon.

The Knights broke the game open with five goals in the second half.

Indian Lake goalie Brittany Roby recorded eight saves.

Coaches Rice and Cramer said, "During the first half of the game we played with great intensity and drive only giving up one goal. The second half we came out flat and not as aggressive giving Greenon the opportunity to put in a couple more goals. We had our moments in the second half of playing very well, but it was not consistent and when playing against a team that is ranked in the state, we needed to be on our "A" game for the entire eighty minutes. We were not able to get it done, but we have a couple of games left and then tournament which we have high hopes and expectations for."
