Chiefs and Raiders earn league wins in volleyball Print E-mail

Bellefontaine traveled to Springfield Shawnee to win a long, hard-fought five-game match against the Braves during their senior night.

The scores were 25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 25-27, 23-21.

The Chiefs were led by Addy Passaro with 38 kills, 28 digs, and 14 blocks.

Tiffany LeVan recorded 61 assists, 12 digs, and 5 kills.

Kirsten Leasure tallied 28 digs and 9 kills.

Emily Melling had 24 digs and 8 aces.

Rachel Rapp added 18 kills and 7 digs.

Bellefontaine is 14-7 overall and 7-2 in the CBC.

They will host Dayton Stebbins on Thursday.

Benjamin Logan defeated host Greenon in three games (25-22, 25-13, 25-13).

Alexa Coughlin had 13 kills and 3 aces.

Jessica Allen recorded 7 kills.

Brooke Richard tallied 6 kills.

Lauren Stahl had 19 digs.

Caroline Lehmon and Abby Small had 9 digs apiece.

Tiffany Rader recorded 22 assists, 10 digs, and 3 aces.

The Raiders move to 12-8 overall and 4-5 in the CBC.

Benjamin Logan will play its final home game of the season on Thursday against Indian Lake.

The JV match will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Benjamin Logan's JV team defeated Greenon 25-14, 25-18.

Brooke Richard led the Raiders with 4 kills and 5 digs, while Rachael Rutan led the team with 4 aces.

Benjamin Logan is now 17-3.
