Quint Terry had five rushing touchdowns and ran for over 200 yards. Keeyln Zell threw a pair of touchdowns to Trent Rodenberger. The defense had seven turnovers. Beau Harmon, Brent Weiss, and Tanner Penwell had several tackles. Tarren Cozad and Rodenberger had interceptions. The Raiders close out the season next Tuesday at Northridge. The Indian Lake 7th grade football team beat Benjamin Logan 30-0. LJ Henderson opened the scoring on a 7-yard run. Montel Morgan added a 40-yard touchdown run and a 25-yard TD pass from Brennon Lump. Lump also scored a touchdown on a 4-yard quarterback sneak behind Ethan Downing. Christian Grider, Blake Johnston, and Downing each added two-point conversions. Kryst Luangasa led the defense with an interception. Bobby Dye and Tyler Dolan each added quarterback sacks. The Lakers held Benjamin Logan to four first downs. Indian Lake is 4-1-1. The Lakers will host Urbana next Wednesday. The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade football team blanked visiting Troy Christian 52-0. For the Tigers, David Branham, Jr. rushed for 188 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. Todd Pease ran for 53 yards and added two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Pease also passed for 127 yards. Taylor Cordell rushed for 48 yards, had two 2-point conversions, and added 97 yards receiving. Kyle Wilkins added a touchdown and two 2-point conversions. Defensively, Branham had 7 tackles and a fumble recovery and Cordell added an interception. Lane Bowman had a sack. The Tigers are 4-1 and will host Fairbanks next Tuesday. |
