The Logan County Fair Board hears from Independent Don Bradley, who is running for Logan County Commissioner.
The Logan County Fair Board started their Wednesday evening meeting by hearing from Don Bradley.

Bradley, an Independent, is running for Logan County Commissioner in the upcoming November election.

Bradley spoke after the meeting about his thoughts on entertainment at the fair and support for the fair board.

The board also discussed entertainment for next year's fair and referred to the 2008 budget of $42,366.

Board President Keith Watson asked the board to come up with a preliminary schedule based on what events worked well for the community and what events were cost effective.

In other news, the board approved two new board members; Tonya Neer for the Richland Township seat and Jim Logan for the at-large seat.

Storage units are still available at the fairgrounds. Those interested may go to the fairgrounds on Saturdays through November 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The board approved two Dog Committee members; Judy Conklin and Janet Dunn.

The board also approved that the $40/person fee for the Ohio Fair Managers Convention would need to be paid by board members wishing to attend.

The fair board ended in executive session and no action was taken.
