Bellefontaine standout Christian Garlock finished his season at the Division I District Golf Tournament Wednesday at Weatherwax in Middletown.

He got off to a slow start with a 47 on his first 9 holes, but fired a very impressive 37 on the back 9 for a final of 84. (Photo included.)

Head coach Ryan Sawmiller said, "This was a great experience for Christian as he played with some very good golfers today and saw a very competitive field. With Garlock only being a junior this will only build into his senior year and his goal of getting to state as a golfer. Now he can get into the pool and start his endeavor of another goal 'state qualifier in swimming'. This concludes a fun and memorable season with Christian and the rest of the 2008 Bellefontaine Boys Golf Team."

Garlock was medalist in several matches this fall.

The Division I Boys State Tournament starts next Monday.
