The Bellefontaine Fire Department along with the DeGraff Fire Department responded to 1962 County Road 31 South around 2:30. Stephen Davis, 47, of rural Bellefontaine, was found when firefighters were extinguishing the fire. The Logan County Sheriff's Office and the Logan County Coroner's Office responded, too. The coroner's office is still investigating the cause of death. It appears that Davis was burning a fence row near his home. |
