DESCRIPTION:Indian Lake OH: Chapel Valley/Capital City recording artist, The Journeymen Quartet, will give a live performance at 7:00 PM on Saturday September 22nd at Russells Point Church of God.  This concert is a free public event.  All are Welcome! 
Originating in Huntington, West Virginia in 1957, the Sothern Gospel Quartet has enjoyed tremendous success. The group delivers traditional gospel music combined with humor and laughter to the delight of their audiences across the country. It is no surprise this nationally known group was named West Virginia’s Ambassadors to Gospel Music.
Led by “Big John” Bledsoe, the group has enjoyed hit songs on the charts including “I’m Glad I Know Jesus”, “We’ll Soon Be Home” and “When We Step inside the Gates”.  According to the group’s website, “their goal of delivering a first-class performance filled with excitement, energy and lots of great traditional, Southern Gospel Music are traits which have proven to play an essential role in the success they have enjoyed.”
In addition to The Grand Ole’ Opry, National Quartet Convention and Dollywood, their busy schedule has included Renfro Valley, Christmas in the Smokies, churches and auditoriums.
