West Liberty Health Fair Oct. 19 at Green Hills

The West Liberty Health Fair is 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 19, in Foundation Hall at Green Hills Retirement Community.

Mary Rutan Hospital and OSU Heart Center of Bellefontaine are offering four vascular screenings for $100. Appointments are required by calling the MRH Cardiology Department at 599-7016.

The American Red Cross will be have blood drive. Appointments are needed by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or go online to www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code: GreenHillsctr. Those donating will be entered into a drawing for a pair of tickets to the OSU/Michigan game.

The Logan County Health District will offer flu shots at a cost of $25 per shot, $30 for a flu mist, and $45 for a high-dose vaccination.

Appointments are not needed for free screenings, including facial skin cancer screening, cholesterol and blood sugar screening (must fast after 10 p.m.), bone density, computerized stress test, blood pressure check, and body mass index testing.

Also at the fair will be West Liberty Dental, Sertell Chiropractic, Midwest Podiatry, MRH Celiac Support Group, MRH Sleep Disorder, Senior Independence Home Health, Mended Hearts,  Massage on Monument Square, Books Are Fun book fair, and others.
