Rushsylvania Memorial Day Ceremonies

Rushsylvania Memorial Day ceremonies will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, Mon., May 28, at the Veterans Park downtown. The event is sponsored by the Rushsylvania Lions Club and will include the placing of the memorial bust of fallen hero, SPC Jeremy Hodge, in honor of his service to his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Doug Chivington will be the speaker, the Benjamin Logan Middle School Band will play patriotic music and a Military Honor Guard will perform.
