The Indian Lake Area Historical Society will hold it's regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 25, 2012, at 7:00 PM at the Galilee Lutheran Church, 301 Lincoln Blvd., in Russells Point.

    Guest speaker, Melissa Luthman, a regional Ohio Civil War 150 member, will be discussing "Indian Lake's Civil War Soldiers".  Ms. Luthman, a graduate of Ohio University and George Washington University, is a member of the Ohio Historical Society's partnership with local history organizations in which the volumteers serve to promote, raise awareness and preserve Ohio's strong history through educational experiences for community members.  The Logan County Historical Society is hosting Ms. Luthman as she works on projects throughout West Central Ohio this year.  Her speech for the Indian Lake Historical Society will focus on Indian Lake Civil War soldiers and their families at home..
