Logan County Summer Baseball Youth Camp

Bellefontaine High School baseball program coaching staff along with other area coaches will be hosting the Logan County Summer Baseball Youth Camp for ages 6-14, June 17-20, 2013 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Blue Jacket Park. The cost is $70 per camper with a $90 family rate for more than one camper which includes a camp t-shirt. Johnny Appleseed Summer Camp

On June 17 and 18, 2013, the Johnny Appleseed Educational Center and Museum, in partnership with Piatt Castles, will host a two-day summer camp for ages 9-14! This adventure will take place from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The registration fee is $20.
The first day will be held at the Johnny Appleseed Educational Center and Museum on the campus of Urbana University with the focus on the orchard of the early 1800’s. Activities include exploring the Johnny Appleseed Museum, using an apple press to make cider, and planting apple seeds.
On Tuesday, the camp will move to Mac-A-Cheek Castle located at 10051 Township Road 47, West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Campers will learn how life on a family farm changed from the early 1800’s to today. Activities include scavenger hunts, games, role-playing, and exploration of both the inside and outside the castle.

Russells Point Safety Town
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Safety Town provides instruction to students starting kindergarten this fall. The program includes pedestrian, traffic, and fire safety, as well as good and bad touch, stranger danger, and the hazards of drugs among other things. The Russells Point Police Department will also be adding gun safety, boating, water, and park safety. Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be teaching proper fishing techniques. Each participant will leave with a new fishing pole.
The classes are available for all Indian Lake students starting kindergarten this fall. Registration information may be picked up and turned into the Russells Point Police Department at 433 State Route 708, Russells Point, Ohio 43348
This year’s safety town is June 17-21, session 1 is 9:00AM-11:00AM and session 2 is 1:00PM-3:00PM

The Indian Lake Baptist Church "Love the Lake Activities" will be June 19th - June 21st from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm each evening. For this event we will have Great gospel singing, games, prizes, free food and beverages, and GREAT fellowship.
