Rushsylvania Lions Club July 4th Chicken Barbecue
5:00 AM - 10:00 PM

The Rushsylvania Lions Club will hold their annual Chicken Barbecue on Sat., July 4 at the Rushsylvania Village Park from 12 noon to 4 p.m. or until sold out.  The meal includes half a chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, roll and butter and choice of iced tea, lemonade or coffee for a $9.00 donation.  Proceeds benefit the Lions scholarship fund for Benjamin Logan High School students and other local Lions Club projects.  The Rushsylvania Methodist Church Women will also have desserts available for a donation.  There will be numerous other activities in Rushsylvania on July 4 including a parade beginning at noon.  The Rushsylvania Lions will be presenting tropies to the most patriotic and the best overall entries in the parade.  A flyer of all the July 4th activites in Rushsylvania is attached.

5K on The Lake

5K on The Lake
Lakeview- The 8th annual 5K on The Lake will begin at 8:30am July 4th where the Lakeview Elementary school use to be in Lakeview (530 West Lake Street, Lakeview, Ohio 43331). The entry fee is $18 (run and t-shirt) and $10 (run only) if pre-registered by June 29th. 
Packet pick-up will be 7:30-8:15am the day of the race at the school. Race Day Registration $23 (run and shirt) *limited race day t-shirts and $15 (run only). Proceeds benefit the Lakeview Athletic Association, Huntsville Ball Association, Washington Ball Association and The Logan County Invasion 16U Girls Softball Travel Team. 5K at the former Lakeview Elementary in Lakeview at 8:30 AM, Car show begins at 10 AM, Events include pageants, food, swim and more!  Indian Lake's Got Talent begins at 3 PM.  Fireworks start at 10 PM.
