Homeowner helps deputies catch burglar

Ryan LytleA man caught breaking into a home in northern Union County was arrested on multiple felony charges Thursday afternoon.

The Union County Sheriff's Office reports that Ryan Lytle, 29, of Marion, broke into a residence near Richwood in the 14000 block of Boundary Road.

The victim returned home and found Lytle exiting their residence around 1:15.

Lytle then left eastbound in an older model maroon sedan.

About 15 minutes later, a deputy stopped Lytle on Baldwin Road north of State Route 739.

Items stolen from the home were found in Lytle's car.

He was charged with aggravated burglary and theft, then lodged in the Tri-County Jail in Mechanicsburg.
