A Springfield man wanted for trafficking drugs in Bellefontaine was arrested on multiple felony charges last week.
Marcus Hagans, 26, of 1628 Edwards Avenue, was arrested by the Springfield Narcotics Unit following a traffic stop in Springfield last Wednesday night around 6:15.
The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force has been investigating Hagans for trafficking crack cocaine in Logan County.
During the investigation, the task force obtained trafficking crack cocaine warrants for Hagans. The task force worked with the Springfield Narcotics Unit during the investigation, which led to a search warrant on Hagans’ residence and to his arrest. Authorities seized crack cocaine, a loaded firearm, ammunition, and various drug trafficking instruments.
Hagans was charged with three counts of trafficking crack cocaine and one count of possession of crack cocaine, then lodged in the Clark County Jail.
Additional charges are possible.
Hagans, also known as BeBe, had $2,400 cash at the time of his arrest. The cash and his 2007 Chevy Tahoe were seized.
