Warrant leads to two arrests

Eric SnyderA warrant led to two arrests at the Brookstone Apartments, 500 Gunntown Road, Thursday morning around ten o’clock.

Robert Dickinson, 34, of 416 Woodland Drive, Bellefontaine, was arrested for failure to appear and possession of drug instruments.

Eric Snyder, 42, of 21143 State Route 68 north, Belle Center, was arrested for possession of heroin and trafficking heroin.

The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force had been investigating Dickinson for trafficking heroin.

Authorities observed Dickinson entering Brookstone Apartments and approached the vehicle when it stopped.

Dickinson admitted that he had a needle in the vehicle when he was placed under arrest.

Officers found a used hypodermic needle in a cup holder.

Snyder was found to be in possession of black tar heroin, with portions of the heroin separated into several capsules, and $301 in cash. 

The heroin, cash, hypodermic needle, and Snyder's cell phone were placed into evidence.

Both men lodged in the Logan County Jail.
