Trooper Jeremy Allen of Zanesfield was promoted to the rank of sergeant Monday by Colonel Paul Pride, Patrol superintendent, during a ceremony at the Patrol’s Academy. Sergeant Allen will transfer from his current assignment at the Marysville Post to serve as an assistant post commander at the Wapakoneta Post.
Sergeant Allen began his Patrol career in September 2000 as a member of the 136th Academy Class. He earned his commission in March of the following year and was assigned to the Findlay Post. In 2004, Allen transferred to his most recent assignment at the Marysville Post.
