DeGraff filled one of its two vacant council seats Tuesday night.
Jennifer Bowman returned to council to serve another four years. Bowman had originally resigned from council last November.
A village corporation sign on State Route 508 South will be moving to the other side of the road. The village street superintendent was going over some records recently and found that a property was unincorporated when it was sold years ago. This means that the sign is no longer on village property. The village will also be notifying the property owner that village crews will no longer be mowing that stretch of road for liability issues.
Council also set the spring village-wide yard/garage sale day for June 14th.
Mayor Gary Comer comments on Bowman, the sign, and the sale day.
The DeGraff Police Department swore in new officer Thomas Minehart recently.
Mike McIntire resigned from the fire department.
The DeGraff Village Council will meet again on March 4th at 7 pm.
