A rural Bellefontaine man was arrested on multiple drug-related counts near downtown Thursday night around six o'clock.
Officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department saw Damione Miller, 34, of 3840 Harrison Road, walking in the 200 block of West Columbus Avenue.
Initially, Miller was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug abuse instruments.
While checking his clothing, authorities found a hypodermic needle and heroin wrapped in foil.
Miller was then charged with a felony count of possession of heroin.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
