Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Alger Friday afternoon around 5:30.
The Findlay Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Robert Stevens, 68, of Lima, was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan westbound on Shadley Street and Marion Gross Jr., 72, of Alger, was operating a 2004 Lincoln Town Car southbound on State Route 235.
Stevens was struck after he failed to stop at a posted stop sign.
Both drivers suffered non life-threatening injuries and were transported to Lima Memorial Hospital.
Three passengers in Gross' car were injured and transported to Lima Memorial Hospital.
Angela Roby, 41, of Ada, suffered serious injuries.
Tammy Elwood, 49, of Ada, and Stacey Gross, 47, of Grove City, had non life-threatening injuries.
Timothy Gross, 51, of Grove City, was riding in the Lincoln. He was not injured.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged and towed from the scene.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office, Alger Fire and EMS, and Ada EMS assisted at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
