A county man was charged after he admitted to intentionally driving through a farmer's field northwest of Bellefontaine earlier this week.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Michael Harvey Jr., 20, of 7110 Hardin Drive, Russells Point, damaged a field near the intersection of Township Road 56 and County Road 57 Thursday morning around 12:30.

Harvey's truck got stuck in the field.

Deputies responded to the area Thursday around noon.

After authorities questioned him, Harvey admitted to driving through the field.

He was issued a summons for criminal damaging.

The field is owned by Gary Campbell, 32, of 2321 Township Road 56, Bellefontaine.
