Two people were arrested following a street fight in Russells Point Friday night around ten o’clock.
The Russells Point Police Department responded to West Main Street near Indian Head Roadhouse.
Several people were fighting near a minivan in the roadway.
Officers saw the minivan driving towards Lakeview.
Authorities stopped the van near Township Road 293.
The driver, Lance Wilson, 43, of Huntsville, was bleeding and visibly injured.
Wilson told officers he was assaulted by a passenger in the vehicle and once the van was stopped, the fight continued in the roadway. He gave officers a description of the suspect.
The suspect, Dallas Red, 23, of Fairborn, was found walking near Lind Street and Main Street with his girlfriend, Brianna Mohler, 23, of Russells Point.
Red was also injured and claimed he struck Wilson out of self-defense.
Wilson and Red were treated and released by Indian Lake EMS.
After speaking with witnesses, Red was charged with assault and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Mohler, who was intoxicated and warned for disorderly conduct, was permitted to leave with a family member.
About 30 minutes later, the Washington Township Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at Point Place Apartments.
Mohler allegedly assaulted her mother, Denise Arnold.
When officers went to arrest Mohler, she resisted and began kicking officers. Once in custody, Mohler kicked her mother.
Mohler started kicking in the cruiser and had to be restrained in hobble straps.
Mohler was charged with domestic violence, assault on an officer, persistent disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
She was transported to the Logan County Jail and placed in a restraint chair.
Russells Point and Washington Township were assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
