A local teen was arrested following several burglaries at Indian Lake Thursday morning around 3:40.
Phillip Klaas (pictured), 18, of 8573 State Route 366, Lewistown, was taken into custody moments after the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a resident on Miami Island.
The caller said they saw flashlights and heard prying sounds at their neighbor’s home.
Deputies arrived and found a male wearing black clothing, black gloves, and a black toboggan.
The man fled the scene and remains at large.
Klaas was found nearby in a stolen truck, which contained guns, ammunition, jewelry, and money.
He was charged with three counts of burglary and other charges are pending.
Klaas was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The Bellefontaine Police Department K-9 unit and the State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.
Deputies received burglary complaints from 10836 Scioto Drive and 10838 Scioto Drive on Miami Island along with 12276 State Route 720 Thursday morning.
The sheriff’s office continues their investigation.
