Bellefontaine City Schools headed back to class (Audio included)

This past week Bellefontaine City Schools started back up after a long summer off.

To prepare incoming freshman, the high school hosted its annual Freshman Camp on August 12th and 13th.

At the camp the new freshman received their schedules, were fed lunch, and went on a tour around the school to see where their classes would be and where their lockers are located. In addition, they were briefed on the dress code and were informed about the clubs their new school had to offer.

Listen to freshman Kasey Middaugh explains his thoughts on high school so far.

As tradition the new senior class was able to go out to lunch on Friday, and they will be able to every Friday for the rest of the year.

Listen to senior Breannah Kennedy share her opinion on her senior year so far.

This year the marching band plans on going to Philadelphia to perform in the Thanksgiving Day parade, then going to New York City to see a live performance of The Lion King on Broadway along with many other educational stops. They also have a band contest scheduled to be performed at Ohio Stadium. It should be an exciting year for them.
