One injured in car/tractor accident near spillway

A man driving a tractor caused a three-vehicle injury accident on State Route 366 near the spillway Saturday morning around 11:50.

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Charles Lycans, 77, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, was driving a Kubota tractor eastbound on 366 when he turned left and struck a westbound 2007 Honda Element operated by Lynda Keaney, 57, of Columbus. Keaney then went off the right side of the road and struck an unoccupied front end loader parked at a construction site.

Keaney suffered minor injuries.

She was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.

Lycans was not injured.

He was cited for failure to yield.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
