Unruly bar patron arrested for grabbing female customers, threatening police

Terrance CooperA drunk city man was arrested on multiple charges following a fight outside a downtown bar Saturday morning around 1:55.

The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Terrance Cooper, 33, grabbed the buttocks of female patrons at The Beer Vault, 149 West Columbus Avenue.

Cooper spat on staff members when they removed him from the bar.

He struggled when officers handcuffed him.

Cooper attempted to strike an officer with his elbow.

He also spat on an officer and kicked the cruiser's door and window.

Cooper was removed and placed in leg restraints.

He threatened to harm the officer and his family while en route to the Logan County Jail.

Cooper was charged with four counts of assault and single counts of public intoxication, resisting arrest, persistent disorderly conduct, assault on a police officer, and intimidation of an officer.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Last Thursday, Cooper was charged with public indecency after urinating on the exterior wall of the bar.
