A local passenger suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle wreck on Honda Parkway in front of the Marysville Auto Plant Tuesday morning just after five o'clock.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Timothy Pond, 47, of 3071 County Road 12, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2008 Honda Accord eastbound in the left turn lane when he was rear-ended by a 2011 Kia Soul operated by Pamela Smith, 43, of Kenton.
A passenger in the Accord, Pond's wife, Sharon, 48, had minor injuries. She was not transported.
Smith was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance.
Both cars had minor damage.
All three occupants were wearing their seat belts.
