Six local residents were arrested on various charges in Russells Point Sunday morning around 12:30.
The Russells Point Police Department responded to 160 Burkhart Avenue looking for Carl J. Cummins Jr. (pictured), 18, who was wanted for forgery.
Officers were led to believe Cummins left prior to their arrival, but were given permission to check the residence.
Cummins was found hiding in a bathroom closet. He was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail where he was lodged on felony charges.
Shannon Cotterman, 17, of Springfield, and Logan Taylor, 15, of Bellefontaine, allegedly helped Cummins hide. Both teens were charged with obstructing justice and lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
James McMillion, 20, and Aaron Garrison, 20, both of Bellefontaine, along with Cotterman were arrested for underage consumption. McMillion and Garrison were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Officers later learned that Brian Slusser, 49, of Russells Point, provided whiskey to Cotterman. He was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Initially, Cummins was wanted on charges stemming from a fraud investigation by the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
