Two local residents were injured in a motorcycle accident about four miles east of Bellefontaine on Township Road 135 Sunday night around seven o'clock.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that David Payne, 36, of Bellefontaine, was driving a motorcycle northbound in the 900 block of 135 when he lost control, went off the right side of the road, then came back onto the road and went off the left side and struck a ditch.
Payne, who was wearing a helmet, was transported from the scene by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital.
A nursing supervisor said Payne is listed in good condition.
Passenger Erin Ratleff, 32, of Bellefontaine, was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital in Marysville by Tri-Valley EMS.
Deputies continue their investigation.
