A Bellefontaine man was arrested on multiple counts after he allegedly hit and threatened a manager at Staples, 2250 South Main Street, Monday afternoon around three o'clock.
Darin Cook (pictured), 47, of 704 North Main Street, entered the store shirtless and demanded a refund.
The manager gave him $12.50, but Cook claimed he paid more for the merchandise.
Cook slapped the manager's hand and threatened to beat him later.
The suspect cussed at the manager and left in a red minivan heading northbound on Main Street.
The manager contacted the Bellefontaine Police Department and gave officers a description of the vehicle.
Police stopped Cook on Ludlow Road near Spring Avenue.
Cook was charged with misdemeanor counts of assault and menacing.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
