The United Way of Logan County is relocating down the street to the newly renovated Main Street Marketplace.
Executive Director Jim Donnelly said the move comes after over 20 years of being at 122 North Main.
The decision to relocate came after an opportunity was presented to have a fresh new look in 2012 at a reasonable rate while continuing to be fiscally responsible to their donors.
“We are so thankful for our volunteers and the funding our contributors provide us with, their generosity allows us to create success through our supported agencies serving our community,” said Donnelly.
He also remarked the new location at the Main Street Marketplace will provide the additional visibility and success the organization is focused on creating.
The United Way of Logan County relies on the support of a large volunteer base, and its annual campaign generates funding that supports grant requests of 23 different local agencies. The annual campaign will kick off in September.
Local developer and building owner Jason Duff noted, “It’s a pleasure to work with Jim and his board members in customizing an office that will help showcase the great success stories the United Way is creating.”
