Local driver charged with OVI, hit skip

A city woman was charged with multiple counts after an alcohol-related crash in Huntsville Friday night around 11:45.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Michelle Snyder, 43, of 548 Woodland Drive, fled the scene after striking a stop sign at the intersection of Willoby Street and Napoleon Street.

Deputies found her damaged 2004 Honda Accord nearby at 4762 Napoleon Street.

Snyder was charged with OVI and hit skip.

She was not injured.
