An Allen County man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 33 west of Lakeview Thursday.
A passerby saw the body and motorcycle off the roadway around five o'clock.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports Tracy Terhark, 46, of Cairo, was riding a 2005 Honda Shadow 1300 westbound on 33 west of County Road 88.
The vehicle drove off the right side of the road on a curve, slid down an embankment, and overturned.
Terhark, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected. He did not have a motorcycle endorsement.
Both Terhark and the motorcycle came to rest in a cornfield.
Troopers are not sure when the accident happened.
The Patrol’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is assisting in the investigation.
The Lakeview Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Troopers are asking witnesses to call 644-8348.
It's the second fatal accident in Logan County this year.
