The village of West Liberty will host fireworks Saturday evening at Lions Park. The West Liberty Police Department has announced road closures beginning at 4 p.m. until the completion of the fireworks show.
Township Road 174 will be closed from the Lion’s Park entrance to 1113 Township Rd. 174 and will be accessible only by authorized personnel and emergency vehicles.
The Pickrelltown Rd. (Twp. 174) entrance to the park will be closed at 9:30 p.m. and will not reopen until after all traffic has cleared from the park. The entrance will only be accessible to emergency vehicles during this time.
West Liberty PD asks that those who plan to attend the fireworks show enter the park from E. St. Rt. 245. There will be signs directing the public where to park. After the show, all traffic will be directed to leave one way through the park to E. St. Rt. 245. There will be two lanes of traffic to ease congestion at the park exit.
