Logan County officials have opened a cooling center in Bellefontaine.
The Logan County Chapter of the American Red Cross has a cooling center open at the Logan County Solid Waste District, 1100 South Detroit Street, from 1 pm to 8 pm today.
If you're feeling uncomfortable with the heat and humidity, stop by the center for relief.
The squad station in West Liberty is also open for a cooling center. They will be open all night if anyone needs to stay.
Anyone with a medical emergency should seek treatment from their regular medical provider.
Many homes are expected to be without power for the next few days.
